Sarah Palin says that Barack Obama is extreme on abortion rights. Yet her position - no exception for rape or incest - is one that only 10% of Americans agree with.
Of course, it isn't a surprise any more when a Republican accuses a Democrat of something that's more true of the Republican.

I agree! How they forget too how it became law... under the Republicans! The '73 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade legalized abortion by a 7-2 vote. Six of the seven justices in the majority were Republican appointees. The only other Democratic appointee, Byron White, voted against Roe v. Wade. The president was Nixon. They had 8 years to change it with the current Republican president. With 6 years of a Republican congress. Also since '69 the U.S. Supreme Court has been controlled by a majority of Republican-appointed judges. There has not been a Democrat-appointed chief justice since '53. Currently, there are seven Republican appointees and two nominated by Democrats. So since '73 how come they haven't changed it?
