Political opportunity

After years of making political hay out of war, among a thousand other cynical ploys, it takes a breathtaking amount of sheer gall to say this:

The senator from Arizona also accused Obama of seeing the economic crisis as a "political opportunity."
Meanwhile, the turmoil in credit markets is making the vast amnesiac middle of American voters think, "Oh, right, the Republicans have screwed up the economy big time. Maybe we shouldn't give them another shot at doing even more looting."

Of course, next week, they'll remember what a weird name Barack Hussein Obama is and they'll discover that he's black to boot.

OBAMA = BETRAYAL
Obama supporters are foolish to think that he will never betray them.
Obama was a close friend of Pastor Wright for TWENTY YEARS.
Obama threw Wright under the bus for personal ambition.
McCain would not betray his country even after 5 years of torture.
You can put lipstick on a traitor, but he's still a traitor.

Yet McCain permitted Duhbya to continue torture. He betrayed himself and the founding principles of his country.

McCain has never disowned anyone. Well, Phil Gramm. OK, the lobbyists he forced out of his campaign. Oh, and his first wife. Christopher Cox, which pissed off the WSJ. His economic theories (which, by the way, amount to a vague fog of bullshit Republican remedies that have been proven not to work). He even hugged the man who sicced Rove on him in 2000. Some principles! Some stand against personal ambition!

You can put lipstick on, Howard, but you're still just as ugly and stupid. And vampire crimson would be a better color on you.
