Taxidermied leaders in glass coffins

More and more true about the Republicans, who share a common understanding of power with Lenin and Stalin, even as they diverge wildly to the other extreme of economics.

Stalin yes, Lenin no

Lenin has defenders. I'm not one. Better than Stalin is not a great selling point.

About twelve months ago, I was thinking about joining a Marxist political organisation. I emailed the Communist Party of Australia, asking them for information on who they are and what they do.

They sent me a book which was a long Stalin apologist diatribe. It argued how many of the people Stalin killed actually had died from natural causes, and that Stalin was the natural successor to Lenin, and that Leon Trotsky was in bed with Hitler. It was utterly disgusting, factually garbage and logically ridiculous.

I couldn't understand how anyone in their right mind could even think of defending that monster.

I have found a Youtube video that has defended... Pol Pot. No kidding. The greatest murder in human history (per capita) cannot be defended under any circumstance, and yet there are some hideous people out there.
