Brass balls

The simple straight-talking truth is that blood 'n' guts McCain doesn't support the troops. He supports the brass.

It may be hard for a third-generation officer to make that distinction. The troops, however, will be able to figure it out.

At least these veterans have education benefits. I served in the Air Force for 24 years and came in during the VEAP years before the new GI bill was instituted. The VEAP program was terrible so I declined to enroll in it knowing the new GI bill was coming but because I declined the VEAP program I was ineligable for the new GI bill leaving me with absolutly no educational benefits.

I was in the Air Force as well... I used the VEAP program... It did help... a little! This new GI Bill is going so fast. I hope it is good ...I'd be suspicious... looks like something is trying to get through or past the radar. - I hope it is not just a way to score political
brownie points.

I'm glad I had the VEAP... but honestly, I wanted to serve my country first... and Gladly went where Air Force needs were first.
