I'm sure Roy Edroso will do a better job of this, but I can't help making fun of the communists in Russia who don't like "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Depends". Probably Kathryn Lopez is angry that Cate Blanchett is playing the KGB agent - isn't that glamorizing the extermination of the kulaks?

Could the retro commies and the idiot wingnuts pleeeeeez meet in the World of Warcraft section devoted to Cold War nostalgia?

How would you like it if someone made a movie which shows your relatives slaughtering American soldiers? That's exactly what the Director of the Jones movie did. The communists repressed the Jews in Russia. Hollywood now choses to use a vicious lie in the Jones movie to punish them. Very dangerous politics to use American movie to make hate propaganda. Nazis-like behavior will not be tolerated. Especially not from Hollywood.

Ummm, hi, anonymous, the Communists of that particular ear were nothing short of butchers. They "repressed Jews" in Russia? Are you kidding? They slaughtered Jews. They later slaughtered thousands and thousands and thousands of Christians. Your kind of myopia comes only from rose-colored lenses peering into the past. Stop pilfering history to fit your ideology.

And don't forget (I'll be using my best Lewis Black impression): IT'S A FRICKING MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously Russians are not intelligent enough to discern entertainment from reality. I guess they should build shelters throughout their country for when "I Am Legend" or "War of the Worlds" comes to fruition.

Sadly and contrary to popular belief for Russia the only person returning Russia to the Cold War is Putin, his cronies and puppets. The Russian people can thank Putin for the giant steps backward this country has taken since his election and self appointment to the office of Prime Minister.
