A Canadian in the U.S. debunks myths of Canada's single-payer health care system:

[I]f the only way we compared the two systems was with statistics, there is a clear victor. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to dispute the fact that Canada spends less money on health care to get better outcomes.

Great article. It really takes apart the arguments of the neo-cons on this issue. Point by point. Neo-Cons always spit these myths out without contest too often.

I am a sucker for well presented numbers in context.

You can stop at 'sucker.' A clinical psychologist wrote this tripe? I guess Aunt Betty did not need her 54th year of life and was better off in a wheelchair waiting around for her knee replacement, something we can all look forward to. Here's another Canadian with a different vantage point.
