What got Van Jones fired was they caught him on tape saying that Republicans are assholes. And they call it "news." And Obama didn't say a word in defense of Jones and basically fired him when Glenn Beck told him to. Just like we dropped "end of life counseling" from health care reform because Sarah Palin said it meant "death panels" on her Facebook page.
Crazy evil morons make up things for Obama to do, and he does it.

Jones disclaimed being a truther.
Obama is not standing up to conservative pressure. He is still trying to come out all nice and peacemaker and hopeful like he is still running for office. Dude - you got the job - Go For It!
And then to pull the other leg out from under himself, he is biting the hand of his DNC handlers, by flip flopping on key liberal initiatives like public option, etc.
If he misses this chance to champion a good heathcare bill it will be partly his own fault.
And whiners will blame:

- racism
- Hillary (again)
- space aliens (why not?)
