Millions for slot machines, not a penny for tribute

Bill Bennett is betting on a GOP without Mark Sanford. But he ought to know how strong the conservative culture of self-forgiveness is.

Conservatives are constsntly leaving office after scandals. I never see the democrats leave. Ever heard of Charlie Rangle.

'Constsntly' is a brilliant typo. Did you mean constantly? Well, if the shoe fits...

Or did you mean consistently? Probably. Sometimes long after their scandals. Larry Craig served out his term. David Vitter is still in the Senate here on day 789. Sanford is still hanging on. Newt Gingrich resigned the Speakership but served out his term, and he's still around to sully the body politic - wasn't his first scandal either. So, consistently? Nope.

You're wrong on 'never', too. Eliot Spitzer is all I need to refute that claim.
