Oh, but what about Krugman? He has slammed Obama pretty hard.
The birth certificate non-story got reported to death, just without the made-up conspiracies of the wild wingnuts.
Everything Newt Gingrich says on Fox winds up on CNN, too. Rush Limbaugh has a direct line into the veins of CNN, too. But no one, no one, ever says anything adverse to President Obama. They really mean all those messiah statements without irony.
Look, corporate media does stink, and it's only getting worse. It is a handmaiden to power. But this was much more in evidence with Duhbya than it is with Obama, and the reason is that Republican interests are much better aligned with corporate media's interests than Democrats' are.
LL - in the "not another" article it gives the bottom line number of the banner head lines that Obama is cutting this and that.
For all those math-challenged out there: a 17 billion cut off 3.5 trillion is 1/2 of 1 percent. That should not even be news EXCEPT to silence the sheep.
Obviously all for show while he follows the tired old "spend more than the previous guys" politics.
Dan Balz's opening sentence and the headline writer's "Small Cuts Will Do Little to Tame Deficit" obviously cover Obama critically. That's what you asked for. Now, you've changed your mind, and you want the media not to cover the story instead of reporting critically.
I'd say there's no pleasing you, only that might not please you.
Krugman on stress test leaks out of the Obama administration. Since I know Paul would never criticize Obama, I'm at a loss how to explain this: "I hope I’m not being too cynical here. But it would be nice if the administration would, just once, do something to dispel that cynicism."
The NYT editorial page offers kudos for how hard Obama pushed cramdown. You mean thEse aren't kudos?
"The Obama administration sat by last week as 12 Senate Democrats joined 39 Senate Republicans to block a vote on an amendment that would have allowed bankruptcy judges to modify troubled mortgages.
Senator Obama campaigned on the provision. And President Obama made its passage part of his antiforeclosure plan. ..."

Obama, too, but it only hurts when I laugh.
I am so glad the US main stream media doesn't report any serious negative stories about Obama!
People might start to question...
Nothing but happy talk, except ... what this!?
Lordy, I hope there aren't any more.

More fish in a barrel:

Cripes, this is spreading. Somebody call the cabal! The LA Times is infected, reporting critically on Obama about Guantánamo.
Another day, another criticism of Obama from big media...
When will the heterodoxy end!
