I think many American's echo this Idea and we need more of it. Cause at the end of the day it is usually your neighbor that helps you first... not a stranger from a federal entity.; June 2, 2008 at 11:18 PM

The Bushist Federal government will always try to avoid helping anyone who doesn't have a lobbyist. If you're o.k. with that, it's your right.

I do have a friend who works for the CDC, but I hope she shows up if there's an outbreak. I don't think any of my neighbors could help with that.

On the other hand, I'm involved in a network helping another friend who has cancer, no government involved. Why should it be either/or?; June 2, 2008 at 11:32 PM
