Sounds like a good Creed to me.
Bush is "Right-ON!" We need to standup as Americans and help out and serve more!
Almost like JFKs speech..."Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country"
I think many American's echo this Idea and we need more of it. Cause at the end of the day it is usually your neighbor that helps you first... not a stranger from a federal entity.

The Bushist Federal government will always try to avoid helping anyone who doesn't have a lobbyist. If you're o.k. with that, it's your right.
I do have a friend who works for the CDC, but I hope she shows up if there's an outbreak. I don't think any of my neighbors could help with that.
On the other hand, I'm involved in a network helping another friend who has cancer, no government involved. Why should it be either/or?
It should be neither ... I commend you on your work
with your friend's cancer care. I hope their is a full recovery.
