Good manners - feh!

What's wrong with Democrats? Even after what the Bushists and especially Karl Rove did to him, Tom Daschle still says:

Rove either has "a very faulty memory, or he's not telling the truth"
When the hell would Daschle ever bluntly state the obvious truth, "Karl Rove is a liar, has always been a liar, and will always be a liar. There's no point in anyone listening to a single word he says."

Would that be too goddamn impolite? And David Broder can shut the hell up on that subject.

Moulitsas and Rove are now both contributors at Newsweek, and of the two, Rove was by far tbe more persuasive (and honest) in his debut commentary.

Too bad you can't see straight through your Bush-hatred.

Just for fun, I read them both. Rove, typically, critiques Hillary's personality in juvenile terms pitched to the middle school maturity of the Republican base. Imagine an audiovisual club nerd like Karl Rove defining who gets into the cool clique! I got a pretty good chuckle from that.

As for Rove's completely absent honesty, I suppose it is progress that he didn't repeat in Newsweak the bullshit lie that it was the Democrats who rushed to war in Iraq. There is not a single word that comes out of Rove's mouth or pen that can be relied upon without wholly independent confirmation. He says whatever he thinks will elect Republicans; truth is not a concern for him.

Kos, for his part, criticizes the Democratic Congressional leadership for rolling over for the Bushists time and again. You say he wasn't honest, but as usual you omit even a single particular. The reason is that there is not a single factual statement Kos makes that is even arguable. But you neocons are not satisfied to argue what to do about the facts; you think you're entitled to your own fantasy factoids.

So, how's that Kool-Aid tasting?
