It is also irrefutable evidence of the effect of the "War on Poverty" on the ability of the poor to earn money. 5 kids by 6 fathers really cuts the legs out of your earning potential - didn't have that in the button-downed 50s.
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, cutting income taxes liberates the rich from hiding their income in tax in trusts and corporations, hence the apparent increase. Ask "Two Americas" John Edwards why he earned only $100K last year. John who, you ask?
